Our Story

Since 1972, we’ve been providing quality, personalized work for individuals and businesses. Albert Kesteleyn & Co [AK & CO] was started by Albert Kesteleyn after working for years at a local accounting firm. AK & Co has been passed down the family line ever since.

Family Owned

1972

Albert (Al) opened for his first day of business. He and his wife Margaret started working out of their home. Their kitchen table was Al's desk.

1988

Margaret, Al, and a friend starting construction

Al, his son Thomas (Tom, not pictured), and some carpenter friends started construction on an office building to work out of full time.

1989

Tom took over AK & CO as president.

1990

The new office building opened for business. You can see Al hard at work at his new desk!

Today

Working hard to help individuals and businesses and fill their accounting needs.

The Next Generation

As a family business, the Kesteleyn's carry on the tradition of making accounting simple for individuals and businessess. Thomas Jr (TJ) is being mentored to take over the family business.
